For your closeness makes me forget danger
Don't ever leave me, dear
For I am a lover
Who desires your sweet companionship
O! How often we embraced in the night
Where songs roamed about
And the moon lovingly watched over us
Your beaming face
Ever fills my heart with joy
And chases boredom away
Caress me, beloved
With a gentle touch
That banishes fear evermore
And thrills me to the core
May our night remain charmingly beautiful
With golden dreams
And cherished hopes
Ours is a happy love
And through it
We aspire for sublime things
So, come closer to me, beloved
For your nearness
